LGBTQIA+ 101
2 hours
A foundational session for teams beginning their LGBTQIA+ inclusion journey.
This workshop builds shared understanding, confidence, and respectful practice across teams.
Participants will:
Build confidence around LGBTQIA+ identities, language, histories, and lived experiences
Understand the importance of pronouns and inclusive language
Recognise unconscious bias and its impact in workplace settings
Develop confidence to actively support LGBTQIA+ colleagues
Understanding & Preventing LGBTQIA+ Workplace Gendered Violence
2 or 3 hours
An advanced session for teams committed to workplace safety and wellbeing.
This workshop is designed for teams who have completed LGBTQIA+ 101, but can be tailored to include a refresher on language and key concepts if needed.
Participants will:
Learn how to identify forms of LGBTQIA+ workplace gendered violence
Gain a deeper understanding of micro-aggressions and how to respond and prevent them
Build skills to respond to disclosures in trauma-informed and supportive ways
Gain tools to embed preventative practices across policies, systems, and workplace culture
Increasing LGBTQIA+ Inclusion within Workplaces
3 hours
Move beyond awareness and into meaningful action.
This practical workshop supports teams to turn good intentions into sustainable inclusion practices. Designed for teams who have completed LGBTQIA+ 101, with optional refreshers built in.
Participants will:
Assess where your organisation currently sits against LGBTQIA+ inclusion best practice
Strengthen inclusive HR, policy, and workplace practices
Explore accessibility and intersectional inclusion strategies
Begin developing a tailored LGBTQIA+ inclusion action plan
Creating Safer and More Inclusive Events

This workshop supports organisers to proactively embed LGBTQIA+ safety, accessibility, and inclusion into every stage of event planning and delivery.

Embed consent culture into event planning and delivery
Build accessibility into event design, communications, and operations
